Yes. I customised them. And made transparency and colors with photoshop. It is free.

Keep in mind that South Park is actually copyrighted, and you can’t technically use this without Comedy Central’s permission

I think they were custom made characters using a South Park character generator, but that’s still not great.
Also, @Visual917, some constructive criticism - the SP characters don’t mesh great with the rest of the art, cause it looks quite inconsistent. Perhaps a more cartoony world would look a bit better? I don’t know, I’m still excited for the game though!

What’re you using to make the game?
Oh no, not another “game” 
The SP art really doesn’t mix in with the background, so I’d suggest either 1. change the art, 2. change the backgrounds, or 3. both. The walk cycle, or lack thereof isn’t really convincing, either 1. keep the skips consistent, 2. make the sprites shake so it would simulate walking like in SP, 3. make em walk. But really what you should do is make the game before releasing the trailer. Since you are a beginner, a trailer isn’t really needed.
I am making this game since October 2014 it was time to make a trailer. This is only announcing trailer. Beta footage’s displayed. I don’t have a graphicer i dont have money.
Keep in mind that images from google image may be copyrighted (some copyright strikers don’t care if you don’t make any money) and stock images cost money.
I know, and im not taking all images from google images. I have a sound and image source.
