I think the current staff listing is very limited as you can’t easily compare staff members or know your overall expertise (design, tech, or both). A better way of displaying staff would be to add a summary overview screen. On this screen, it would like all your employees and their skills, similar to the sidebar when you make medium games. There would also be a point “total” for design, tech, research, and speed. Lastly, there would be a section for expertise (tech or design) and specialization (one of the 9 categories).

Yes. I think this idea can be included in the game. Especially the last idea.
Yeah, and it’s not really adding anything new, just displaying data that’s already there in a better way.
