Are MMO's worth it?

I recently started playing GDT a bit after a long time, and i keep making MMO’s, but really is it worth it? you have to keep slaving away your staff making expansions straight after you complete the last one you made to keep the game making profit. Also, i used to notice that G3 would boost the sales of MMO’s but now they don’t seem to any more (may be a mode i use, but i’m not sure). Also, unless you release a new MMO, you lose fans, probably not as much as you made from the game, but still… So is it really worth making MMO’s.

In short: no. Personally it’s not worth the time, maintenance and boredom I get from making MMOs. I rarely make MMOs, and those are mostly AAA. Mostly I spend my time creating “true blockbusters”.

If it’s at least 8.5/10, yes.

@Haxor but you still have to keep slaving away making expansions

If your MMO is good then it’s worth it… just start developing one asap, when your MMO goes on market.

3 words: World of Warcraft. You all get what I mean

I don’t believe you can develop an MMO which will stay on the market for 10 years in GDT…

You can, but it gets boring imo

With 9999Mil fans you can do everything, true.
