I have had an idea for Game Dev Tycoon…
You know how when you’re making a game and there’s a popular topic in the mix?
Yeah and your game doesn’t match the topic, so you know your game will get bad/okay ratings?
Maybe you’ve really tried on this game and don’t want to throw it away, but you’ll get bad ratings due to the “Popular Topic.”
Well, I have a solution!
All that needs to be done is add an option called “Release Later”
What this option does is it doesn’t directly release the game, but it also doesnt throw it away, you’re work won’t be lost!
And when you do want to release it, you can just click like you normally would to start a new game, sequel, etc., but a new option will be available called “Release Game…”
That way, you won’t get screwed over by a “Popular Topic” at the moment, and you don’t trash it, it’s a win-win!
Just a thought, so what do you guys think?
