Yeah, there was some multiplayer mods but they are outdated/not working.
So somebody should launch another multiplayer mod with great possibilities.
Name should be: Multiplayer Expansion Pack (MEP)
Idea’s and features:
We will see notifications like single player game. (game, engine and console releasing)
We won’t see any singleplayer elements or story things.
No end of the game calculation. Or maybe it will be and we will compete with our friends.
Servers like: Germany, Europe, Turkey, North America etc.
Other peoples platforms in our market.
Other people can see us in a windows and pm us.
I have other ideas but nobody listen so if someone can make this mod it will be great!

yeah, there is no one who could develop such a mod.

That is impossible to mod with the current free time and resources. To do what you said we need someone to host a server or pay for one, and we need to pretty much peel off the game’s storyline, which isn’t one bit as easy as it sounds. Not to mention the time it would take to create the new gameplay mechanics that make the game multiplayer-friendly. Not even a seasoned web and software developers(which are rare because people often choose between programming and web development/design, not both) would do that much, for free or not. I know you like to express your ideas and all that, but you need to respect the fact that it’s not as easy as you imagine. Plus, with Ultimatelib being outdated, which by the way made a lot of things easier, that would take a longer time and make the task even harder.
