I have a few questions:
-Is the 1.4 update available? If it’s not, when will it be?
-Are we sure that the steam keys will be given? (People may sell these keys)
EDIT: Well, you already have the game on pc/mac/linux/win8 store, so some people would sell the 2nd copy, right?
The 1.4 update is not yet available until the steam release on the 29th. They will be giving them steam keys, though i don’t make false promises.
If people sell these keys… Wel… I don’t know?
Im pretty sure they may be able to sell the keys because it would go into there inventory if im not mistaken.
It would be pretty dumb is you sell your steam key of GDT. You payed for it, you play it… so why would you sell it?
You get it for free im pretty sure, you bought it already, you get a free key on steam, which I still don’t get why you would sell it. I may be wrong.

It is against the Steam Subscriber Agreement to sell a game key without authorisation. I also suspect it’s against the EULA of GDT.
When you receive your Steam key, it will be in the form of AAAAA-BBBBB-CCCCC.
You should redeem it using the ‘Activate a product on Steam’ option in the ‘Add a Game’ menu on the bottom-left of the Steam Client.
Some people have bought both the ModernUI and Desktop editions, and so may be eligible for 2 keys. In those cases, the most likely outcome would be a giftable (but non-sellable) copy of GDT in your Steam inventory. However, @PatrickKlug, @DanielKlug, or @Charlie would have to confirm this.

I won’t sell it, but since you have a key you need to activate, you can activate it on another steam account and nobody will know. After all, they don’t know about your steam account. As I said, I am not going to sell my key, I’m just thinking that people may do this and this can cause the developers not give any keys.
