I am expecting 1.4.4 for the Steam version of Game Dev Tycoon to come out on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 to fix more of the bugs that we reported.

Wow right on my birthday.
well 1.4.3 came out 2 days after the release date on August 31, 2013, which was yesterday. So I based my guess on that, and they can’t release it on Monday, September 1, 2013, because of Labor Day.
I would be unrealistic to expect updates every few days based on that.

Given that not one member of the GHG team resides in the Americas… may I ask what Labour Day is and why it would affect anything? Also, the 1st is today (Sunday).
The release schedule for updates is “When they are ready”. For some more critical bugs, a smaller update will be released sooner, but most bugs fixes will be folded into a larger update so that people can spend more time playing the game than downloading it.
Maybe the next game from GHG will be called Game Downloader Tycoon?

the good thing about steam is, you dont have to worry about updates. they just get installed and they work.
if its up to me, you can bring daily updates.
