I think that The Devs should give us a patch called 1.3.9.1 that fixes the FPS, the audio buffer problems, and other simple bugs that they can fix so we don’t have to wait till August to get everything in one enormous patch.

I have the Test Build for 1.3.9 and i still have FPS issues and I have a Dell Inspirion N411Z.

Yeah, everyone has FPS issues, I have FPS issues on a high end PC. The fixes will be in the August Patch most likely.

Try getting 1.3.8? OR it still doesn’t work?

If it doesn’t work on the tb for 1.3.9, then it won’t work on 1.3.8(which you can’t get because the download link automatically gives you 1.3.9)
You can ask for it anyway.

Fixing the game balance and adding features isn’t easy and one sure way to mess it up is to hurry a patch out the door. That’s why we cautiously set the estimated release date for the updated version to August 2013. We plan to release this updated version on Steam first and all customers will get it for free through their Steam keys. Once this update is out, we will also look to get the game on other distribution platforms and back-port the updated version to the Windows Store.
While these larger changes are under way we will continue to release service updates fixing crashes or bugs (1.3.10 is in the works) but the large balance and content changes will not happen incrementally."
The performance patch will help some peoples fps problems, those who exceed our minimum spec, have more than 2gb of ram, a modern non integrated Graphics card and a modern resolution on a standard widescreen monitor.
While you don’t need a gaming rig to play Game Dev Tycoon if you play on a notebook or low spec laptop with integrated graphics you will have problems.
The performance patch offers some optimization that will increase FPS for people who exceed the minimum spec.

ugh, 2 months away. sighs
wow some of you guys cant read. he said the big balance changes etc are coming out in august, but there will be patches for bug fixes etc in the mean time (1.3.10 being in the works as one of them) but the huge changes won’t come soon.
Read the news letter, please.
I even put it in Bold in the post above, for those that have bold blindess here it is in italics

Finally an update. i cant wait to see what they added 
SO in other words, if im right…1.4 Patch is in the works and will be released in August, as the big patch but 1.3.10 is in the works and should be release most likely somewhere between now and end of July.
Yes. They will add increment updates every now and then just to fix known bugs.
are they working on both patches at the same time?
I’m pretty sure that they would be working on 1.3.10 right now fully, then when that comes out, its full focus for the 1.4 patch that would be huge :L
