Can't use game anymore? (1.4.5)

Hello,

I have been playing since the very starting of the game. However recently since the last update I have been unable to play it off steam.

I get a couple error codes. At boot up I get error code saying:

Error
Could not load mod nr. 2: TypeError: Cannot read property 'folder' of null.

This happens right at the screen that shows your company name and continue.

Next one is when I get in game-- I notice the characters are not moving at all and this message shows up for whatever I do. And I cant even use the pause menu to exit the game.

Error:
Uncaught Error. Please report this to Support@greenheartgames.com: Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read 'isCustom' of null.

I tried everything off of steam, recacheing, deleting the file folders, but for some reason my game saves are still there even after deleting/uninstalling it.

Here is some more info: I did use the Cheat mod when it was in beta use, then I deleted the cheat mod folder and updated to the latest version where its mod acceptable, put back the mod and this happened.

I’d like to play again, any info would be nice. :smile:

seems like one of the mods corrupted your save game.

If you just want to get back to playing a new game then this is what you can try:

  1. Start the game
  2. Wait for the error to appear
  3. Press ESC before loading the saved game.
  4. Disable any mods
  5. Restart the game
  6. Press ESC immediately after the game starts up
  7. Start a new game.

if 1-4 doesn’t seem to work you might have to re-install the mods you had used previously (this will get rid of error nr.1) and then disable the mods afterwards.
