Wondering if I can download a desktop version if I already bought the tablet version?

Well this header is pretty much asking the question. I bought game dev through the windows store on my tablet and I was wondering if I could download it again onto my desktop?

Would I have to re-buy it for use on my desktop?

Did you get a steam key? I think all copies come with one so you can register it on steam
