There is nothing stopping non-alpha testers to use the mod. That would be silly to do it in that way. Why should we close it, and what are the benefits of completely closing the alpha?

One thing i am curious is about the “Create games together” feature.Will it be like,you will choose a friend and when you start developing,the bars will move up and down,acording to what you/he is doing?For example,if he lowers the Graphic bar,will it also lower for me,or i will have to adjust to the same settings as his?(GDTMP was this way acutally).And will it be a research or the option will appear as soon as there are more than one people in the server?Like,If i’m alone the options is hidden,but when the people start connecting,the option becomes available?

This is not implemented yet, so there is no definitive conclusion for this feature. We are open for suggestions!

Never say never, but Jan has explained some things;

He has to rewrite the entire mod as the implementation was very messy in his eyes. This is not something he has time for. On that note, he also doesn’t have as much time now as he had when he started and has more stuff to keep an eye on now than before.

So, we might pick it up later but dont get your hopes up :wink:

EDIT: He also said that the amount of people using the mod would be very small and he didn’t think this would be appreciated enough.

Me and Jan works together, so if you have a problem with that, I suggest you talk to him. If he had a problem with me publishing it here, I wouldn’t do so.
