Why do you need a launcher? Please, explain why, cause it doesn’t make sense.

Also, did you ever check whether or not the developer was comfortable with an engine change this late into development? And what of this RPG? Who’s the developer?

-smart
-1 download for all our games
-it can show our blog update when pc download game
-automatic play game, no need to open folder/file

Also, calling it “smart” is not the same as providing evidence to that effect, meaning that we have no reason to believe.

That’s good, I guess, but you have 1 unfinished game and a rumored RPG… Shouldn’t you be focussing more on the games right now instead of launchers?

This one is a little hard to read, but I assume you mean we can read your blog updates when we download you games. Again, if you had a few games under your belt and a large fanbase this would be a good idea, the launcher itself wouldn’t be a bad idea. But you have no games right now and people could look at one of your numerous websites to read your blogs, it’s not that hard.

I’m a little disappointed by this, because it’s essentially saying you don’t have to go into a folder to start your game, but desktop shortcuts could do the same thing with less of a hassle.

That’s not an answer. At all. It’s basically saying “we’re doing this cause we want to now shut up and pay for our game.” You DON’T NEED A LAUNCHER, and I doubt you can even pull it off.

@peradev + everyone else. I have said this before but I will say it one last time. Please keep any and all posts pertaining to ‘Game Wor/l/d studios’ in this thread.

Peradev- I don’t mean to be harsh in my posts, just I want to see your company not fail and maybe even release some decent games if you put some work into them and stop working on side projects- So my advice:
Cancel the launcher, it is unneeded at this point and taking time away from devolving the game(s?)
Either confirm the RPG or kill it. If you are working on 2 games see if maybe you could get a bigger team, if you’re sticking with your current team stick to one game being developed.
You’re the website manager, are you not? I read that on the developer’s thread where he listed your team. If you are, stick to the website. Improve on it, instead of pre-order make a donate button. There are many thing you yourself could do that would make GWS more appealing to other people.

If you did all of these things, I would almost certainly buy your game. As it stands, I might not bother.

You are the one designing the game, not us. We don’t order you, we order the game. You are the one who is going to make this game. So make it good.

They have to expect feedback whenever they do something though, and if they do it wrong, they’ll be made aware, so then they can change it. There’s no point ignoring criticism just cause they’ve decided to make the game that way. If that was the attitude they adopted, the preorder would most likely still be up.

In this version you can do almost anything, I decided to publish only to have (if possible) feedback on the game. There are no animations, and the game is very limited. Please if you can give me advice, or other problems! :smile:
