So I went on a trip this weekend and on my brother’s laptop I found a (sadly) cracked version of this game.
However, I have bought this game twice (first on windows 8 using VMware as I am a windows 7 user) but when it got released on steam I didn’t have it installed anymore so I just went for the easy way and gladly paid another 9 euro for it!
(So I hope that settles and I don’t have to expect any mad reactions to this)
Now, I hadn’t really played the game a lot yet on steam but because I was bored, I did on my brother’s laptop and got quite far.
Now I’m home I tried transferring the savegame (file__0.localstorage and file__0.localstorage-journal to the right folder) it doesn’t seem to affect anything. When I launched the game, my old save game still was the only one appearing, I’ve tried deleting every thing and reinstalling the game even with steam cloud disabled, but it didn’t work.
Then I bounced on some random topic which did make me able to delete my old save games but yet my newer once that I place there don’t seem to be found?
Any suggestions on how to fix this? I don’t really feel like starting all over again?
