Somehow my game is frozen, stuck in ‘Pause’. When I reload the game, my character is not at the disk and time does not advance (see link 1). I hit ‘Esc’ to enter the pause menu to try and force it to unpause, but then a ‘Paused’ indicator appears (see second link). The save is totally unplayable.
I can start a new game which works fine.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Do you have any mods installed?
I didn’t consider mods causing the issue. I disabled them, but the game is still stuck.

I would suggest starting a new game. To do this, as soon as the game hits the ‘click to continue’ screen press the ‘escape’ key and select ‘new’ from the menu. The error message may remain but once closed via the ‘x’ it should not recur.
Once a file has been corrupted by a mod, removing that mod afterwards will do no good. The damage will have already been done. For future reference, don’t use UltimateLib or any mods that require UltimateLib.
