Avatar is one of the great movies i’ve ever seen. Now i am excited to watch
the next part of the movie. Does anyone know when the next part of the movie
will be released? I heard the director have decided to release 2nd and 3rd part
at a time. Is it true?

Oh please. The only reason this movie made so much money and was well regarded was because of the whole new 3D thing at the time and how well it utilized that. Otherwise, it’s a mediocre/good movie and nowhere near to great, and definitely doesn’t deserve to be clled one of the greatest movies you’ve ever seen. Unless you’ve not seen great movies, in which case you are absolutely right!
To answer your question, the current slated release date is the 25th of December 2017. Avatar 2 and Avatar 3 will not be released at the same time. Avatar 3 is slated for a December 2018 release. An Avatar 4 is also in the works, slated for a 2019 release.
Obviously James Cameron’s one since the one directed by M. Night Shyamalan was called The Last Airbender, was poorly received and has no sign of a sequel. Luckily.
