since it seems you’re okay at modding just names, can you make a mod to let me see the real names of things?
I know they did spoof names for copyright but me privately playing the game, I see no reason why I can’t make games for the SNES, or Sega Genesis, etcetera. (<~ wow your forum spellchecker thinks ‘etcetera’ is spelled wrong?)

On the wall, yes. But the game considers your company’s name to be whatever you changed it to. So in events you will get the correct name.
