Notification that leads to non existent page keeps returning

As described in the subject, a notification that leads to non existent page does not disappear when the forum page is reloaded.

The highlighted link leads to the topic 12108 which is private or non-existent. Whenever I click on the link I land to the “page does not exist” page and the notification is not removed or better said keeps returning on each reload.

Browsers: Chrome (latest) and Firefox (latest)

That is topic ID 12111, not 12108, So it must have gotten moved or deleted, or something.

Yes, I guessed so. But the notification with the wrong link is shown whenever I reload the page, the system doesn’t seem to take note when clicking on it.

I suppose, because it has been moved, there is no relation between the information in the notification list and the topic itself?

I can confirm that this thread was created 22 hours ago (sunday for me) and i have not moved or edited it anyway.

I see the same issue. The notifications keep re-appearing as unread.

This can happen if you have an unread PM, the unread PM will trigger unread status on other posts. Be sure to check your PMs just in case to see if this is the issue.
