Free as in sense of freedom. I explain it. Many times. There is no relationship between income and free software. Otherwise there would not be so many companies distributing free software.

@solal2003 The developers of games, software, of anything, have to pay for licences, and other needed things. For example, developers have to pay for music in game? Developers have to pay for the software they use, developers have to pay to put it on steam, pay for the domain? Hosting? That costs money, and a lot of it. It can be in the thousands. Now that’s when your “pay as much as you like” theory come in, now in “theory” that should work, but people in today’s time will not pay for it? Every person would pay $0.00 dollars for it. Also, the developers worked hard on the code, and they deserve all the profits from the game that they put many, many hours into.

Yes, there is actually a ‘relationship’ between those. As you explained in your first post, free software don’t have any restrictions. That means pirates can easily crack/redistribute the game without any problems. This would mean there’s less money for the devs because people can easily pirate it instead of buying the game for it’s €10,-. And no, you don’t explain it very well. And no, you didn’t do it many times because you haven’t explained it. And no, this would be a horendous idea.
That isn’t related to income. That’s free in the sense of freedom. If the players like the game, they donate. Players aren’t bots who searchs the lesser price. That’s humans.
