at first: sorry for my bad english. I’m german.
I wanted to edit a savegame. one for normal play and one wiht a lot of money and so.
But when I start the game and close it and then start it again, the game is hanging on. (is that right? I think you understand what I mean).

That happens sometimes. Why do you think that starting then closing and starting a program on a computer is good anyways? XD
Sorry. But it probably will not persist if you can restart the computer and then playing it. Remember to not do the same thing you did last time!

I get this problem when I switch in windows mode. Game Dev is hanging on…I will try it with a restart.

I forgot something…I have this problem only when I edited the savegame.
Oh… Yeah. You probably, want to delete that savegame by creating a new save.
I did it very often, but nothing happens. But I try it with the pc restart
So…I did a restart and nothing happens.I start my game, go to windows moder or restart it and it’s hanging.
So…I have this problem only bei edited savegames. An unchanged savegame works with no problems.
Yeah. So… You can probably delete that savefile now.
I’ve tried everything…that’s really annoying.

I’ve edited the file direct in the “Locate Folder”.
I copied the file from the folder and then edited.
These Issues are only, when I’ve edited an file.
Normal savegames are no problems.
If something changed in the file, that leads to crash?! Maybe a Bug…argh
How are you editing save files?
Using SQlite manager and notepad++ or something else?
well i guess you would have to contact the maker of the editor and/or stop editing your savefiles.
Possible his editor is outdated because since the 5th of may there been a couple of Game Dev tycoon patches.

well you must be doing something to mess up GDT.
