I totally didn't pirate this game

I was going to, but when I searched Google for a torrent link, your guilt-ridden page was one of the first to come up… being a game designer myself, I couldn’t ignore a blatant plea like that, and it was only $8. So I downloaded the demo to try it out, liked the game, and then I bought it as a show of support for your team. I just wanted to let you know that putting yourselves out like that really makes people think twice about piracy… or at least it did for me. Good on you.

You’re a game designer and you even had the idea of pirating? Tsk tsk.

I don’t understand anyone pirating this game. It’s $8, it’s well-made, it’s FUN, and it’s indie so you know the money is going to the actual developers and not some giant evil corporation that’s utterly intent on destroying gaming as we know it in the name of a quick buck (looking at you, EA).

There are literally no excuses to not buy this. I don’t even own a computer that can run GDT properly, I have to borrow my mom’s laptop whenever I want to play, and I still bought it. After playing the demo over and over for upwards of two hours, I pretty much had to. I don’t pirate games or music or movies or whatever else as a policy, but I have friends that do and in some cases I can admit they have a point.

Well I already bought the game on Windows 8 so I don’t see why I would want to spend another 8 dollars on something that I already legally bought, so there’s that. I’m just waiting for when I’m able to download the Win7 version without having to pirate it.

And that will be in around…

…yeah. Late August is the release date for the Steam Version, those who bought the game first could have the steam version.

And if you’re a completionist like me… you probably want to get all of those achievements.

The version you download via the website is Windows XP / Vista / 7 / 8 (“Native”)

I will quite frankly if you even remotely considered pirating a game, let alone an indie game where piracy almost always destroys small young companies … then you are no Game Designer. Everyone I know within the industry has either been affected themselves or knows someone who has by this practise.

I mean seriously what do you expect a pat on the back for a good job and not doing something illegal?
That’s like saying “Hey guys I didn’t pull my Johnson out in public!”

i think i got a pirate one i brorght the game in stor but i keep loosing money like the pirate one why

Either you didn’t buy the game in store or you just need to improve your skills.

How comes then that I play my copy on Win7x64 and all is up and working and you need to wait smth?

Because I bought my copy on the Win8 store. There’s a difference from $8 to $16. I’ll wait till they start handing out Steam key to Win8 owners.

There is a pirate story in the real game as well but it gives you options (let them be, sue them). it is not the same story as in the pirated version where you don’t get option and you just go bankrupt.
So there’s nothing to worry about.
