Game Dev Roleplay

Operation S.P.A.C.E is out. Micronoft and Cloudware have done it. Millions of players already, and it already made the companies each 100k! Plus the 50k Cloudware earned from the publishing contract, Cloudware has over 175k!

Ubisoft has announced that, after 150 years of work, they will resign. Many fans have been seen weeping and protesting outside their main buildings. Founder Cazran Patmore said that, “After 150 years of work, we’ve seen the world move around us. We’ve also seen other companies move around us. But now it’s time for someone else to step up. We’re tired of being one of the big companies, blocking everyone else off. By leaving we’re giving them a chance to fill our shoes -or game consoles, more like it-. Before Ubisoft is finally laid to rest, we have made a gift to all the game companies we’ve worked with, broke or not,” With that he tossed 5 WGP’s (Whole Game Packs - Every single game they’ve ever made), to the crowd. He entered the building and that was the end of it.

A week later…

Employees have been seen putting up posters depicting knights slaying dragons, a lone traveller hiking around a mountain and eight great castles looming in the distance. What does this mean???

Five weeks later

Founders Cazran and Hayden Patmore have arrived at G3 wearing modest clothes and each holding 10 boxes. When they are called up, they explain that inside these presents are a pre-release game for each and every game company they’ve met along the way. Cazran and Hayden then beckoned all the game company CEO’s including long, forgotten Ashton Snapp, Founder of old TPS.

Three days later…

Ubisoft has released the game, now called “Knighthood” to various critics, who each replied, " Beautifully designed, superbly crafted" They have also included 10 exclusive DLC’s in the first 10 000 copies. A minute later, the lights in Ubisoft’s windows went out. Every single one.

ToT Inc has it’s sincerest goodbye’s to Ubisoft, and they have sent half of all their left-over money from before the crash to Cazran. They say they might also consider doing the same.

Reboot?

Vogan releases a game out of nowhere called “Rahman Legends”. The game stars a cup of raman platforming through 90 levels as it run, jumps, and dies! The game will come out very soon.

In other news, Vogan gives it’s goodbyes to Ubisoft as they shut down. Melter replies:
“Sniff, they were our inspiration. Sniff.”

Vogan is also developing another platforming game. Here is the hint they gave us:

He’s hairy. He spins. He Rolls. He’s, _____

They plan to annouce this platformer next month.

DAAAAAARGH.
Don’t necro. Don’t.
It’s reasonably annoying. They should automatically lock threads with the last response older than three months.

What

@Joshua_Porter He said don’t necro, it means don’t post on an old thread
