Post a thread. Artists are incredibly tough to come by in the modding community and I bet you can team up with someone easily. If you have some ideas for mods, put those up too and I bet you might find someone to work with.
So long as you are bringing something to the table (and not just the idea) you can find yourself in a team quite easily!
