I have gotten about 7-8 10/10 games so in my opinion, with the same genre, its pretty easy.
I have yet to make a 10/10/10/10 game, even though I’m in year 80 or something… my best scores are always 9.75 on AAA! By the way, well done kafka by getting 9.75 IN THE GARAGE on year 4!!
By the way, it’s almost impossible to get a perfect 10/10/10/10 with small games. So upgrade your office and see how it goes.
9.75 is not that hard to get in the garage.
A perfect 10 needs every single aspect that goes into calculating your games to be perfect.
Meaning a 9.75 = not spot on T/D ratio, unimportant slider a bit to high, or simply just not enough T/D points to match your best score. and many other aspects
It’s called a perfect 10 and not a almost perfect 10
Nice Score, but can you do without editing your save files and have 100M fans or more from the start?
Started with 10k to skip garage stage and then it skyrocketed.
So you cheated lol!!
10/9/10/10… I think it’s because a bug sneaked in at the last second
Pause the game before you click “finish” check if theres no bugs incoming and then click “finish”.
But a single bug on large/AAA games does not really make a difference, a inbalance in Tech and Design does.
What Genre was it and how many Design and Tech you had ( if you wrote it down. )
Dunno really… it was something like 4500 3100 and the genre was Medieval/Adventure. I think I got a design record.
It’s actually very hard (impossible even) to get 10/10/10/10 alone, but I’m sure that you can’t get in in the garage.
You need to have several specialists and they need to be in areas that are important for the genre of game you are making.
So for an RPG you want a specialist for Dialogue, Gameplay, Story/Quests at the very least for perfect ten
I’ve done it with what Jessrond says, the specialist route does work. You’ll need perfect balance on your sliders, perfectly timed boosts, perfectly balanced people, and a metric crapload of luck. It’s possible.
As far as a perfect 10 in the garage, I won’t say it’s impossible, but more likely improbable. I doubt very much that someone can perfect 10 the garage.
If it was 4500 Design and 3100 Tech, then your balance was 0.3 off the perfect balance, which gave you a 0.1 penalty on your final score. Meaning the 9.75 was justified.
Adventures perfect balance is 0.4 T/D ratio ( divided Tech by Design to check this ratio )
I think it’s build into the code for a garage game to be a perfect 10.
I’m not saying it’s impossible. Just improbable. Chances are, unless you’re very lucky or you’re using a perfect 10 tutorial, you’re gonna end up with 9.75 at best.
I could be wrong but you need a specialist to be able to get a perfect 10, impossible for the garage.
9.75 on my start with 3K fans. I think you cannot go by 10/10 though.
The way the review algorithm works right now, you need at least two specialists for sliders that are important for your genre, so it’s impossible to get in the garage, and you can’t get a perfect small game as you can not assign specialists for those. Apart from that, the requirements for a 10/10 game are the same as for a 9.75/10.
Also note that even if you fulfill all requirements, a perfect game is not guaranteed. Since every one of the four scores has a probability of 25% to be lowered by 1 point, the probability to hit 10/10 with a qualified game is only a little above 30%.
My friend got 10/10 in the Garage.
The score multiplier in the garage is 1.3 , after year 6 It is 1,15 and after some later year It’s 1,2. You CAN get 10/10 in the garage but you need PERFECT score and have LUCK.
But yeah. It is possible. Have had a friend do it. Was surprised myself.
Excuse me for being sceptic, but the Review Algorithm specificly states having specialists to get a 10/10.
Does your friend has any proof?
