I would always dreaming of a game like it. I played “Software Manager” from Kaiko (not Kairosoft!!!) a lot on my Amiga 500 and GDT is giving me the same Kick.
Additional I wouldn’t be here, named in th German translation credits and I wouldn’t get involved in the German translation of Buzz Aldrin’s Space Program Manager and be part of the German Space Engineer translation group, because of my work on the German translation for GDT.

BASPM is really nice. I never had the opportunity to play Race Into Space, but I think it was similar.
Buzz’s Space Program Manager? WTF? KSP is 100 times better than that.
KSP Is way other.
And BASPM is way older.
@Mikus: You comparing apples and oranges.
BASPM is not a clone of KSP, it’s a economy simulation. That’s why you don’t be active with flying space planes and rockets in BASPM.
Don’t think, that I don’t know what I am writing. I play both and I enjoy them on their way.

IMHO KSP (as game) is the older project.
BASPM is a relaunch of the older and classic Buzz Aldrin’s Race Into Space (was it 1986?) and was announced 1 and a half year ago.
OK. After all is BASPM older. 
Is BASPM pixelated too?

and yeah if GDT never existed, I would still be searching for games like it.
@Tylor_Moore: Not that kind of risk I meant, but I lost Jeb a lot times on several planets and moons. One time he flew directly into the sun… I ask myself, who in the damn world made the calculations for that course… whistles and goes up in smoke
