I have purchased the normal version, downloaded and have been playing it on my Windows 8 tablet.
I see that there is a windows 8 version available from the app store. I didn’t see it or it wasn’t there when I brought the game. Is it possible to change to/get the windows 8 version?
Also, the Normal version is not really optimised for touch (as it runs in Windows 8 desktop mode) and I was wondering if the touch interactions are improved in the windows 8 version?
i have also purchased the desktop version wrongly. Wanted to play on my Win8 tablet but this version does not work on touchscreens. Any way to rectify the problem, I don;t really want to play it with mouse and keyboard.
For now there no way to link the desktop version to the windows app store version.
If you want the other version, you have to contact support@greenheartgames.com and see with them what you can do.

to answer your question: we aim to provide steam keys to win8 customers and to those who purchased from our website when we get on steam. until then it’s not possible to get the normal version if you already own the win8 version.
Ok, i might just run a virtual machine to play it for now 
Sorry Patrick I was asking if it was possible to do the reverse, Can I change to the windows 8 version if I have paid for the the normal version?
Your game is cool but the normal version on a touch device is a bit clunky. After playing the windows 8 trial version I can safely say it is so much better been able to save your game or access the other game settings (the on-screen keyboards on touch devices don’t have an esc key).
I see, sorry that I misunderstood it earlier. Unfortunately Microsoft doesn’t give us any way to give out copies for the Windows 8 version. The only way you can get it, is by purchasing it from Microsoft.
Thanks Patrick. It’s a shame Microsoft decided to jump on the band wagon for this stupid market place idea. I mean , yes, great for them, making lots of money but crippling your users and developers that don’t choose to use your market place is shameful.
