German Translation - target audience / Zielgruppe - naming

Welche Bennung der Zielgruppen bevorzugt ihr?

  • Das aktuelle mit: Kinder / Jugendliche / Erwachsene
  • Die Alternative (wortwörtliche Übersetzung): Jung / Alle / Erwachsene
  • Oder lieber ein System ähnlich der USK/PEGI: 0 / 12 / 18

Al though i am not german, i do understand a few words.

Jung / Alle / Erwaschene is about the same i used for the dutch translation which is Jeugd/ Iedereen / Volwassen.

I wouldnt go with the 0/12/18.

And the actual one is Young / Everyone / Mature :smile:

Not in the German translation, because I translated it with “Children / Youth / Mature” to prevent an conflict with the USK system from Germany.

Some years ago we had no “0 years” label, but two other.
One was (translated into English now): “Free, without age limit”, the second was: “Free for everyone/every age”

But all the time we had still the age limits of 6, 12, 16 and switching from time to time “18” or “Just for mature people”

i dislike the first (actual) option because Jugendliche just is wrong. I would prefer the second option.

Same here. Jung/Alle/Erwachsene sounds better fitting to me and resembles the original. Besides that it seems a bit confusing if “Everyone” would be “Jugendliche” or “12”.
