Oh, I’m sorry I didn’t understand. That would be wonderful, thank you
Question, In-topic forum do you think we could develop parody games [Think of it like Dinkey King] instead of PokeMon it would be CapuMon and the such? Because if so I would love to start producing the CapuMon Series
Fun Fact: PokeMon was originally going to be called CapuMon but couldn’t due to copyright issues of another company.
Also shouldn’t there be one other GM if MacDon isn’t on? Or at least someone who calculates the sales and the such…
Well Truth be told I actually want to around the PSX era make a fantasy series called The Last Story
Sales calculations have been really off lately. I released Prison Life two in-game months ago, and it still hasn’t been rated nor do I know what to put for my funds.
Sorry, I’ve been really busy as of late. Need to think of a way to automate the system easier…
OK, thanks. Don’t want to rush you, or make you feel as if it HAS to be done, it’s just I want to be able to have funds. Also, I’m the only console developer that started with 5% ;3
IMPORTANT: I sincerely apologize for this misinforming post. It was made under the assumption that the level of technology in 1986 would make portable consoles impossible.
However, I have been informed that the creation of a Game Boy-like system was technologically possible in 1986, and the only reason it wasn’t created was due to lack of hindsight (they didn’t think it would be profitable). Certain specs would be lower, but otherwise it was completely plausible for a portable console to release in the mid-80s.
Once again, sorry for misinforming everyone, especially because of the unfair advantage it gives me.
Okay, I’ve been asked to reveal how the reviewing system works.
The thing is, I’ve tried this before and failed, as it both very complex but very easy at the same time.
Basically in a nutshell, it’s personal opinion…but with a helluva lotta factors. Basically you try to account for as much as possible that’d you think affect it- timeline, competition, innovativeness of the idea, tech, trends- similar for sales except marketing actually has a proper numerical system.
This means I try to not rush reviews/sales and analysis them, which is pretty slow at times.
If I want another person to be chosen to review/sales though and they were taking part in the RP, it’d give an unfair advantage? So any ideas?
How about two new reviewers? Each of the additional reviewers cannot review games made by themselves or for a console they own.
Thoughts?
I’d be a reviewer ;D
I made 3 or 4 pages on the wiki, so if you need help with typing things up, don’t hesitate to ask. I hope someone reviews my game though D:
Well it won’t be me, unfortunately. I grasp the basic concept that MacDon is going for, but I don’t have the ability to simulate an entire industry in my head.
I WOULD do it but I’m a newbie to this RP and just barely announced my second game…also Twyster if it’s not too much to ask do you think you could make me a page of Draconic Games? [I suck at wikia]
Sure, no problem. Just let me reply to your on-topic post first.
Magic Bump of bumpiness
Anyway, Is it possible to have our handheld console with slightly better hardware specs than yours twyster or something?
I think we can turn it up to 11.
Do’h I mean turn it up to 3Kb of RAM
His has 4kb of RAM so we’d have to do 5 KB of RAM perhaps, but besides that i’d be content with just like 40% of profit
Oh.
I think it has 2Kb… Sorry.
4 kB RAM
8 kB Video RAM
140x115 resolution (Built-In LCD)
